I am excited by the future and the prospects it holds, but it is also filled with various uncertainties. I'm not saying I'd want to be the first person to put his brain in a robot body, but once they've got it down to a reasonably low-risk procedure (well, as low risk as brain-handling can get), I'd be on board. Otherwise I'll likely never live to experience the wonder of flying cars, colonization on other planets, or even Chinese restaurants that dock themselves right at the window of your neigh-autonomous apartment.
The real question is whose side will I fight on in the inevitable human/robot war? Let's face it, probably the robots. Even if that means I have to be five-foot-nothing.
