There are some games that you just have to go into knowing that you will be testing the very fabric of your friendships with those who play with you. Games that essentially can't be played for the fun of it, but must be played to win. Some roommates and I have been playing these games, and rivalries have definitely been born from certain showdowns. Weeks ago, divisions were caused by our somewhat regular sessions of Mario Party. More recently, we've taken to Risk. Occasionally, discrepancies escalate to points that some might describe as being "out of hand". If we can't claim to be anything else around here, we are at the very least entertaining people to play games with.
