Nuclear Delight • Firm But Fair

I don't know what the proper term for the flushing style is, but the toilet at my new house is the kind that seems to open a tear in the cosmic fiber of reality for a quick second, removing all contents of the toilet with such ferocity that it might very well be trying to suck in all of the air in the room into its existential void. It's kind of scary.

In addition, the toilet also seems to stand a few inches taller than the standard size, so it's really been messing up my sitting calibration at every other bathroom I visit. It's really throwing off my toilet-sitting game.

In Turtle-related news, the season two finale of the new series airing on Nickelodeon was pretty darn good, and set things up for an interesting beginning to the third season, which is set to kick off later this week. If you're a fan of the Turtles, I'd definitely recommend checking out the series if you haven't already. It's a relatively unique take on the story that pays tribute to past renditions, and while there's a good chunk of villain-of-the-week episodes, the writers have shown that they're capable of putting together a compelling and cohesive story when they feel like it.
