If you enjoyed Tom Jane's performance in the 2004 film The Punisher as much as I did, there's a thing on the internet now that you should really look at. Tom reprises his role as Frank Castle in this fan-made short titled Dirty Laundry, and it's pretty good. It gets pretty graphic, but that's really to be expected of anything that aims to be remotely true to the Punisher. I'm hoping (I assume as much as Tom) that this might lead into a new Punisher movie with Tom Jane back behind the guns, though I'm not entirely sure if that's a realistic thing to anticipate. Gotta repress those hopes.

There are some other things on the tubes that I'm pretty happy about--namely the Phantasy Star Online 2 western announcement trailer. Me and one of my buds used to play PSO a whole lot back on the Gamecube, so I'm pretty excited about an updated version of that. So much so that I actually put forth the effort to install the Japanese client just to give it a test run. It feels surprisingly similar to PSO (in that I'm surprised that more wasn't added to it), but I guess that's not the worst thing ever. I can't wait to be able to read any of the text anywhere, but I guess that's going to have to wait until 2013, or whenever someone releases an English patch. Until then, I'll just be thankful that killing monsters is a universally-appreciated pastime.
